BlackBerry Limited (NYSE: BB; TSX: BB) reported financial results for the fourth quarter and the full fiscal year 2025, revealing a stable performance across its divisions. Total company revenue reached $141.7 million for the fourth quarter, surpassing the high end of guidance. For the entire fiscal year, total revenue amounted to $534.9 million.

The company’s QNX division posted revenue of $65.8 million in the fourth quarter, which was flat year-over-year but improved by 6% sequentially. QNX’s annual revenue for the fiscal year was $236 million. The gross margin for QNX in the fourth quarter was reported at 83%, a decrease from previous quarters. Adjusted EBITDA for Secure Communications stood at $12.6 million in the fourth quarter, indicating a margin of 19%.

Licensing revenue for the quarter hit $8.6 million, which also exceeded guidance. The full-year licensing revenue reached $26.3 million. The adjusted EBITDA for the Licensing division was reported at $1.4 million for the fourth quarter.

Notably, adjusted EBITDA for the entire company amounted to $21.1 million for the fourth quarter. This resulted in an adjusted net income of $17.7 million, and adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.03. For the full fiscal year, total adjusted EBITDA was $39.3 million, demonstrating improved year-over-year performance.

Operating cash flow was significantly bolstered, with $42 million recorded in the fourth quarter, reflecting a $57 million increase from the same quarter last year. The company’s total cash and investments rose by $144 million sequentially to $410 million, supported by proceeds from the sale of the Cylance business and the increase in operating cash flow.

BlackBerry indicated continued focus on profitability and cash flow in the upcoming fiscal year. The company expects QNX revenue for the first quarter of FY 2026 to be in the range of $51 million to $55 million, while overall company revenue guidance for the full year is set between $504 million to $534 million.
